Institutional Academic Committee (IAC)

This is the highest academic decision making body of the Institute. It looks after regular academic issues like class allotment, academic calendar, routine, syllabus, course file & lesson plan, feedback, examination, result analysis, special classes & training, outcome assessment etc. The committee also recommends regarding introduction of new courses, closure & intake reduction/enhancement of existing courses, faculty/staff recruitment and transfer, new committee formation, responsibility assigning etc. The composition of the Committee is standard with Principal as Chairman, FiC, Academics as Convener and all HODs and FiCs as members.

Finance Committee

The Committee scrutinizes and recommends the annual budget of the institute; It also recommends decisions in all major financial matters and proposals for new income/expenditures (like Revised Fees, Pay Commission & DA implementation etc.) adhering to prevalent regulations. Advisory Committee

Purchase Committee (PC)

The purview of PC is to recommend procurement (select vendor/rate) of capital and consumable items and service based on approved requisitions of the departments and by following institutional purchase procedure. Tendering formality is also carried out by PC depending on the value. Procurement is completed if the PC recommendation is finally approved by the competent authority. Library Committee (LC)

The Committee is to oversee the process of procurement of copies of new/existing book titles and e-books, subscribe national & international journals and other learning resources and modernize library system. Based on book requisitions from faculty members, recommended book list in the University syllabus and AICTE requirement the Committee approves and recommends list and quantity of books/journals to be procured time to time. Admission Committee (AC)

It manages and coordinates all admission related processes including verification of forms and credentials, payment formality, roll no allotment, I-card generation, withdrawal of admission etc. pertaining to the WBJEE/JECA/JELET/PGET/GATE qualified candidates allotted for admission by the WBJEEB or MAKUT. The process of direct admission in different category post admission through centralized counselling is also taken care of by AC. The Committee liaises with MAKAUT/HED/WBJEEB to provide guidance to students and guardians regarding admission related matters. The Committee members are nominated by the Principal.

Disciplinary Committee (DC)

The Committee addresses students' disciplinary matters and verifies & resolves issues on case to case basis. Punitive actions are recommended for inappropriate/indecent behaviour/comment or malicious acts of the students that are detrimental to the discipline/decorum/image of the institute or harmful for an individual. The objective of DC is to maintain discipline in the institute premises including classrooms/labs/common room/playground/canteen or during any event of the Dept./Institute, even in online mode. Anti-Ragging Committee (ARC)

Following AICTE regulation on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in AICTE approved Technical Institutions framed in view of the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court (in SLP No. 24295 of 2006 dated 16.05.2007 and in Civil Appeal No. 887 of 2009, dated 8.05.2009) and notified vide F.No. 37-3/Legal/AICTE/2009 dated July 1, 2009, the ARC is formed for prevention and prohibition of ragging among students. ARC keeps a strict vigil over the senior and junior students, their classroom and common room activities and takes appropriate preventive measures by getting signed undertaking/affidavit from each student and their guardian, putting up notices/announcements. ARC quickly resolves issues, if any reported to any member of the Committee. ARC is formed following AICTE guideline.

MOOCs Committee (MC)

This committee is responsible to promote/guide/monitor/coordinate registration/certification of students and faculty members for relevant online/e-learning courses and programmes of Swayam/NPTEL/Coursera/IIRS/NASSCOM/AICTE/MAKAUT. The Committee examines details regarding course content, credit points, assessment system and acceptance and also judge the suitability and equivalence of courses as per MAKAUT norms. Institutional Research Committee (IRC)

The IRC is involved in planning and management of R&D projects and research activities, resource mobilization and networking. It is responsible for identifying opportunities for externally funded projects, setting up collaborations with other institutions/industries for joint research activities, promotion of faculty research (leading to PhD, PhD guidance and publication of papers/patent/copyright), identifying/awarding students doing innovative projects and stimulating research potential of students leading to publication and IPR by students. NSS Committee

The Committee manages the NSS Unit (RCCIIT) and NSS Student Chapter formed in compliance with University guidelines. Staff/Students are encouraged to think and contribute for the betterment of the society and environment and be conscious and sensitive to the national pride and rich cultural legacy and global issues while working under NSS Unit/Chapter. It organises and coordinates NSS programme activities like Visit to Orphanage, Cleanliness Drive, Blood Donation Camp, Community Health & Environment Awareness Program, Computer Literacy Program, Plantation Program, Seminars on Gender Equity/Global Warming/Wildlife Preservation etc. The Committee also liaises and coordinates with organisations/ academic institutes having a primary goal of social outreach and responsibility. The NAAC-CC is responsible for preparation of action plan for NAAC accreditation and renewal of NAAC accreditation of the Institute. Students Affairs & Student Welfare Committee (SASWC)

SASWC looks after all kind of extra-curricular student activities including Tech Fest, Cultural Fest, Sports Fest, Fresher's Welcome, Puja Celebration etc. It encourages student participation, guides in event and fund management, helps in inviting experts and artists, facilitates institutional funding and infrastructural support for the activities/programs while ensuring student discipline and decorum during such programs. Internal CAS Committee

This Committee is responsible for initial scrutiny of applications (CAS) received from faculty members along with supporting documents submitted by them. The Committee cross checks faculty API scores under different categories as per AICTE-PBAS norms and prepares API score sheet summary for each eligible applicant for the purpose of screening process and subsequent selection by Screening-cum-Selection Committee formed as per AICTE guideline. Any deficiency in basic eligibility for promotion (under CAS) of any applicant is duly informed. Proper interpretation and clarification of AICTE CAS rules and no unwanted delay and absolute transparency in processing of CAS applications are ensured by the Committee. Coding Skill Development & Monitoring Committee (CSDMC)

The CSDM Committee is dedicated to inculcate the culture of coding amongst the students of all discipline as coding has become the essential skill tested by all IT companies for hiring purpose. The Committee focuses on students' concept building on programming at early stages (1st year) and skill development in multiple platforms in later stages (in 2nd & 3rd year) of UG engineering and MCA programs. Experienced in-house faculty and external experts are engaged by the Committee to take coding classes beyond curriculum and ensure improvements of coding skills of the students through regular assessments and monitoring. Group Mediclaim Monitoring Committee (GMMC)

The GMMC is formed to monitor proper implementation and renewal of the policy and ensure smooth processing under the scheme. The Committee is responsible for tracking total number of cases (planned or emergency hospitalization) in a year by collecting relevant information from employees and calculates and updates total relevant claim amount. The Committee maintains liaison with the Mediclaim company regarding renewal, settlement and other internal queries raised. The members are nominated by the Principal.

Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC)

The Cell is responsible for framing policies for IRG and utilization of revenue through certification programs and tie-ups, consultancy projects, CSR projects, industrial trainings and other avenues/ forming and running Industry-partnered Training Hub. Following activities are facilitated by IIPC:

- Industry tie-ups; Industry-Institute collaborative Programs/ industry consortiums & events at Department or Institute level
- Placement and Internship opportunities (for final and pre-final year students)
- Consultancy & Training projects for faculty members; Sabbatical in industry
- Industrial Training and Projects for students
- Setting up of industry partnered Training hub; Certification programs
- Seminars/Webinars/Guest lectures by experts from industry/institute
- CSR projects and industry sponsorships

Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC)

This Cell plans and develops institutional mechanism for orientation and interest generation of students towards entrepreneurship. By organizing Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps, Entrepreneurship Development Programs and Business/Marketing/Product-Design Skill Development Programs EDC fosters techno-entrepreneurial culture within the student community of the Institute. It also works towards earning MSME/AICTE and other Govt. funding towards ED. Members of EDC are nominated by Principal.

Institutions Innovation Council (IIC))

This Council is formed as per MHRD directives and AICTE mandate to foster the culture of Innovation within the student community. The IIC is responsible for identification of /rewarding young innovators through Prototype/Project competition. By organizing periodic workshops and seminars on Innovation, Incubation, Start Up, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and IP Management it promotes the culture of Ideation, Design Thinking, Critical Thinking, Copyright and Patent filing among the students and faculty members of the institute.

Training & Placement Cell (TPC)

TPC is formed to interact and liaise with industry and explore employment opportunities for students of the Institute. The Cell is responsible for arranging exclusive in-campus recruitment drives and coordinate off-campus or pooled campus recruitment drives for the pre-final and final year students. It creates new company accounts and arranges in-company industrial training and internship and also takes care of necessary training on softskill, aptitude and technical skill and mock interviews to enhance the employability of the students.

Examination Cell

This Cell is responsible for all exam related and academic matters including notifications, exam form fill-up, form verification, subject-wise faculty tagging, result publication, marksheet/degree certificate distribution and verification, monitoring of continuous assessment and marks submission, appointing viva/voce examiners, seat and invigilator arrangement during semester examination etc. The Cell coordinates with the University and provides guidance to the students regarding exam related matters. Post admission registration process for all newly admitted students is also taken care of by the Cell.

Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC)

The Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) was formed in due compliance with AICTE guidelines vide notification F.No.37-3/Legal/2012 dated 25th May, 2012 with an objective to provide the students an easy and readily accessible mechanism for prompt disposal of their day to day grievances. The Cell addresses each student grievance received through the institute website or forwarded by the competent authority. The steps for lodging grievances and redressal mechanism are publicly notified.

Social Media Cell (SMC)

This Cell is responsible for promoting activities/achievements/events of the Institute/students/faculty in social media. The Cell publishes posts on institute's official social media channels including YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Linkedin. SMC also monitors malicious/derogatory posts made by students or others in social media and brings to the notice of authority for disciplinary action.
